Week of 12 October 2009:
I pretty much skipped last week (week of 05 October). The culmination of 3-4 tough weeks at work along with some other stuff pretty much did me in . I ran 6.5 miles on Wed and that was it was the week.
This past week was a different story though. I got back in to the routine and felt pretty good. Again, I didn't get the bike as much as I wanted but ended up having a strong week running.



Mon- run- 3 miles; bike- 10 miles
Tues- run- 6.5 miles
Wed- nothing
Thurs- run- 7.5 miles
Fri- rest day
Sat- 20 mile long run
Sun- 6 mile run

Total- run- 44 miles; bike- 10 miles

Week of 28 Sept 2009:
Another killer week at work and I didn't get to bike as much as I wanted but I did get one day in. Other than that- I am very encouraged with the quality of training this week. The wether is a little cooler which helps but I was really surprised with how well things went mentally with training.
I am not really paying attention to pace just yet but my Thursday's run was actually my fastest pace for an outdoor run this year. Also, the pace I ran my 21 mile run at on Saturday was my fastest long run pace for runs over 14 miles (every little bit of motivation helps).

Tues- run- 6.2 miles
Wed- 6.2 miles
Thurs- 6.3 miles
Fri- rest day
Sat- 21 mile long run
Sun- 6 mile run

Total- run- 45.7 miles; bike- 10 miles
