Another solid week of base building. My 18 miler had rain, heavy fog, then rain again. A little bit of a struggle to keep pace for the last couple of miles but mentally stayed good and finished out the run positively.
Another couple of weeks of base building and I will start adding speed and strength workouts in for a few weeks.
Week of 14 Sep 2009:
Mon- bike- 10 miles
Tues- run- 6.2miles; bike 10 miles
Wed- run- 6.2 miles; bike 15 miles
Thurs- run- 8.3 miles; bike 10 miles
Fri- rest day
Sat- run- 18 miles
Sun- run- 6 miles
Total- run- 44.7 miles; bike- 45 miles
