Happy New Year everyone. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. We had a nice Christmas and New Year although very busy. Glenn is at such a great age for Santa which just added to the whole experience.
I didn't get much running in over the break but don't mind. I had a few weeks of build up so a little break didn't hurt. I ran a 5K on New Year's eve and had planned to run one on New Year's day but it didn't work out. Reviewing my race results file I have slowed back to my 2001 speeds when I first started running races- not really the trend I wanted to see but gives me room for improvement again. I plan to get back at it full schedule of workouts this week.
I haven't made up my mind about which marathon(s) I will run this year. I was thinking about the Country Music marathon. I have run it twice but it was on the old course. Also, it won't help me get another state checked off but it is the 10th anniversary marathon and it would be going back to where I ran my first marathon. Another bonus is Kathy and Glenn could go with me and this course is very spectator friendly so I may go run it. I need to make sure I can be reaedy for it before signing up for it. I had my first DNS this past year with Rocket City- I don't want another one!

Good to see at least you are thinking in the right direction. It is to easy to fall off with the training when life gets in the way.
By the way, I am assuming that Glenn is at about that perfect age so enjoy the time of pure innocence.
Stihl
Yes Paul- he will be 5 in March. He started Pre K this year. Very innocent right now.
