Happy Halloween everyone!
I have now cleared my racing schedule for the balance of the year. After putting in a couple of good weeks I had a couple of weeks with very low mileage and now I am going on two weeks of absolutely no running. Unfortunately work seems to be consuming my time and energy right now and when I leave for the day I would rather go home and see Kathy and Glenn than go run.
We are going on 5 months since my boss passed away and they haven't hired anyone yet- nor have I seen any activity around that task.
Congrats to everyone who ran a fall race- there were some great races put in!
On another good note- my neighbor who ran her first marathon back in April and CMM ran her second marathon last weekend at the marine corp marathon and took nearly 30 minutes off of her time- congrats to Becky for a great race.
Also- Derek, my friend here at work finally put in a short run this week after being injured for weeks. Way to go Derek!
Right now my plan is to try to get the miles back up and sign up for the ING Georgia marathon that's run in March. I already have Georgia marked off the list but I have a bone to pick with the Georgia marathon and want to go back and run it.

Thanks Alan, I never thought I'd be excited about a one mile run. I know work is crazy around here these days and there are too many demands and inefficiencies, but I think it would be so cool to see you make a big comeback in running. Maybe I'm just saying that because I want a big comeback for myself and I'm still a little afraid I never will -- but I know you've got it in there.
I hope I get to see you at ING. I am currently speaking with the people involved to have me as a Charity Chaser there. If you dropped them a note saying I would be good for the event, it could not hurt!
I definitely will Dane. Also, you may want to (and I will too) e-mail or call Michele. I think she knows some the of the people that are involved with ING Georgia.
Hey - I do, and I will.
Michele
